Building some of that good functional muscle while sharpening the mind.

The SAVAGE BOXER BODY PROGRAM.

With this program I will help to build you up with some basic boxing workouts.

Some of these exercises you will already know.

Jump rope, shadow box, crunches, jumping jacks, etc…

All the basic boxing foundations geared towards transforming your body.

Within this blog I’ll be dropping more of the mindset and motivation that goes behind my workout.

Todays workout called for 20 sets of 25 jabs followed by 25 straight punches. And yes, that’s 500 punches EACH.

For me the basics never go out of style. In boxing you’re practicing the same punches, slips, head movement and footwork, day in and day out.

I use this format to help build up and tone my arms. After 500 punches at full speed and intensity, my arms are burnt.

Shoulders pumped out.

Forearms swole.

Biceps poppin’.

All the good feels while working my speed and technique.

What more could you ask for?

As always, it doesn’t really matter the exercise. As long as your mind is positive and you’re giving it your all, this time of training is a time of peace.

Even though I have been kickboxing for 2-3 years, I am very clumsy and slow when doing shadowboxing etc. I also think my technique is not good. Do you have any suggestions?
